Russia's Defense Ministry has announced that it has shot down several Ukrainian warplanes and
helicopters and destroyed its missile defense system, while the Russian military is also advancing
on the Ukrainian cities of Mariopol and Vlenakhava.
Russia's Defense Ministry says four Ukrainian Sukhoi-27 fighter jets, a MailMate-type
helicopter and a barrage of drones have been shot down in the Jatomir region.
Russia's Defense Ministry has also announced that five Ukrainian military radar centers and a
Bok M1 two missile system have been destroyed. Russia's Defense Ministry said in a statement
that the Russian military had resumed its offensive in Mariupol and Vilna Vakha after a
temporary ceasefire. No pressure was exerted on them, after which the Russian army resumed
its advance towards these cities. So is Russia
Similarly, Russian television station 24 has announced that Russian troops are only a few
kilometers away from the Ukrainian capital, F., while reports of fighting in the western part of
Kyiv have been received.
On the other hand, Ukrainian Zelensky has called on the people of his country to continue to
persevere in the face of the Russian military.
In a video message posted on Facebook, Zelensky addressed the Ukrainian people, saying that
people in all Ukrainian cities should take to the streets and target Russian troops. He praised the
resilience of the Ukrainian people and said that liberating their country's secrets from Russian
troops was a step towards success.
It should be noted that Russia had formally announced the launch of a special military operation
against Ukraine on February 24, saying that the purpose of this special operation was not to
start a war but an attempt to prevent a world war.
However, most countries in the world, especially European countries and the United States,
called Russia's move an open war against Ukraine and condemned Russia's special military
operation, increasing its diplomatic and economic pressure on Russia.
